The 2012 Iowa Dental Association Annual Session will be held May 4-6, 2012 at the Iowa Events Center - Veterans Memorial Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

The mission of the Iowa Dental Association (IDA) is to encourage the improvement of the health of the public, to promote the art and science of dentistry and to represent the interests of the members of the dental profession and the public which it serves.

The Iowa Dental Association is the largest, most representative dental association in Iowa. It consists of tripartite membership in the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association and the component district society. The IDA is a constituent society chartered by the American Dental Association.

The IDA is divided into ten component districts. Each component district maintains local leadership and elects representatives to the IDA Board of Trustees and the IDA House of Delegates. The legislative and governing bodies of the IDA are the House of Delegates and the Board of Trustees.
