The Iowa Dental Association is the largest, most representative professional oral health association in Iowa. The IDA has been in existence for over 150 years and has, as its members, approximately 80% of the practicing dentists in the state. 

The IDA provides the opportunity for dentists to enhance their profession by working together to advocate for quality oral health care for all Iowans. Association leadership works with state and federal policymakers daily on behalf of patients, dentists, and the health care community.

In addition, our member dentists contribute their time to provide oral health services to all Iowans through programs like the Iowa Mission of Mercy, Give Kids A Smile, Dental Lifeline Network of Iowa, and many more.
